Ms. Gritzner’s environmental project monitoring class attended the Clayton County Energy District breakfast about electric cars on Friday.




Eddy, Ms. Gunderson’s bearded dragon came to visit her classes. He’s also went to the 5th graders as they’re learning about meal worms & those are one of the foods they eat.

Abbey, from Osborne, came to speak to the Central 4th graders about artifacts from the past and how they were used.



Just a reminder, tonight we have a soup supper and instrumental concert.


The Food Science class baked pies with home made crust as part of the “Science of Baking” unit. Our guest judges shared comments with the students. The pies were enjoyed by all.

Students in Life Changes 1 learned about the importance of proper posture and good body mechanics to stay healthy and avoid injury. Thanks to Jackie Bormann, DPT, for coming to our class.


The Art Fundamentals class recently completed a collaborative drawing project featuring the architecture of Elkader. The talent is amazing!



Central Community School has a 3'X6' wood shed built out of treated lumber with a shingled roof up for bid. The minimum bid should be no less than $150.
All bids should be sent or delivered to Central Community School by December 20th by 8:00 AM.
