NICC's Fall 2024 High School Driver's Education
There will be courses held for Driver's Ed at Central CSD this fall.
*** Scheduled on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from September 9 - October 2. Classes will be held from 6:00 - 8:30 pm.

Congratulations to our very own Central Community FFA member Jordan Everitt for not only qualifying to compete nationally against the stop applications from many other states but also settling in the top half with a SILVER rating in the area of Ag Services Placement!


Central Community FFA was well represented in the Poultry Show at the Clayton County Fair by Aaron Fangman, Jack Scherf, Blair Scherf, and Zane Embretson! Many blue ribbons were earned along with several members winning various divisions! Congratulations!




Central's Warrior Caring Closet is starting to see some traffic! School Backpacks are a current NEED. If you would like to donate a new or slightly used backpack to the closet, we assure you it's going to be utilized! Thank you to all that have contributed to the closet and needs of our students so far. We can't do this alone and we appreciate your kind efforts in helping us, help each other!!!

THURSDAY WARRIOR SHOUT-OUT goes to Central Custodian, Doug Nielsen - The man behind these beautiful floors! It goes without being said, but coming up with a schedule to wax all the school floors during the summer break does not come easy. Working around activity schedules and routine maintenance updates can be challenging, but with a group effort, our custodial staff has our school buildings looking amazing!


Please join us two weeks from today for "Back to School" Night at Central. Teachers will be here and eagerly waiting to see all of our Warrior Families! Central Community FFA had many blue and red ribbons earned in the non-livestock exhibits! FFA members showed a range of photographs and agricultural mechanics projects! Exhibitors included Zane Embretson, Logan Everitt, Quintin Schaffer, Layla Embretson, and Kristy Schaffer. Many of the photographs will be shown at the Iowa State Fair this week!

Summer is winding down, which means the start of a new school year is just around the corner. As online school registration is now open, we are also working to process Free/Reduced Applications for any families that would like to apply and may qualify.

Central CSD is looking to fill a position for a full-time custodian for the upcoming school year. This position would come with the opportunity to have medical insurance, paid time off and be a part of many after school activities!
