🚨 Reminder: There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 1. We hope everyone enjoys their Labor Day! 🇺🇸

🗣️ [insert game show host voice]: "Talented student-artists face off in a whole new way. Pushing to win, no matter what curves are thrown at them and before TIME runs out! Artists, you have been CHOPPED!"... Art classes kicked off the school year with deep thinking, teamwork, creativity, and plenty of laughs— as students competed for the title of “Master Artist” in their class. Given only six random items and a handful of basic “pantry” supplies, each group worked hard to transform their materials into a presentable work of art. The challenge? Make something strong enough to impress the judge in order to avoid being “chopped” [eliminated]! The clock was ticking, the ideas were flowing, and the competition was fierce. Some teams thrived, some just survived— but in the end, every student proved that with imagination, even the wildest mix of materials can become a masterpiece.

🇺🇸Thank you to Freedom Bank for bringing the American flag to our first football game of the season! What a great way to kick things off for the season! 🏈 Catch them again on September 11th at our home volleyball game!

Today we kicked off our very first Elementary CCS Assembly of the year! 🎉

Students learned about expectations for assemblies and how to show great sportsmanship when attending games in the gym. To make it extra fun, the teachers took on the high school students in a volleyball match. 🏐 It was a perfect way to practice when to cheer, when to stay quiet, and when it’s okay to jump out of your seat!

Parents are invited to join us for the rest of our CCS Assemblies this year. The next ones are scheduled for September 25, October 30, and November 20 at 2:30 PM in the Big Gym. We’d love to see you there! ❤️🖤

🎉 Fundraiser Update – Let’s Keep Coloring the Logo! 🎨

Thanks to the support of our amazing families and community, we’re already 12% of the way to our $21,500 goal for the Activity Ticket Drive! That means we’ve started filling in the Central logo ❤️🤍 but we still have a lot more to color!
