BIG ANNOUNCEMENT On January 11, 2020 Central will host a wrestling tournament featuring a boys division and a girls division. This is the second year we have had the girls division. A few stats… - In 2019 we had 15 young women compete in the girls division at our meet. - The 2019 Girls State Wrestling Meet featured 87 young women. - For Central’s upcoming meet in 2020 we currently have commitments from 15 teams (8 1A, 6 2A, 1 3A) approaching a total of 80 female wrestlers! Our goal? 100+ girls wrestling in our girls division in Elkader on January 11, 2020. Please share this message with anyone that may be interested in coming. This is a great opportunity for any high school girl looking for an excellent field of competition! Coaches/ADs can contact Mr. Reinhart (areinhart@central.k12.ia.us) or Coach Koehn (jgkoehn2012@gmail.com) for more information.
